The quest to go beyond oneself is one that is worth taking. Working hard and striving towards success is something that I’ve been trying to do ever since I remember.
A few months ago, a good friend gave me a book written by Josef Ajram. He’s a speaker who gives market speeches inspired in his own life experience, which has been full of risks.
I have never been a massive fan of pep talks, but I have to admit that it sounded very tempting. Josef Ajram is a broker that loves taking risks at work as much as at his life. That has taken him to participate in endurance races all over the world, including Hawaii and Canada.
My friend, who is also a massive fan of his, had attended one of his talks. The speech’s topic was learning how to transfer sport values into business environments. And setting objectives as a way of motivating, embracing success and overcoming failure.
What I love about his philosophy is that, as he says, reaching goals is important, but we should focus more on the journey to accomplish them than in the objectives themselves. We should work on our skills, like perseverance and discipline, which will help us in the long run.
If you’re interested in attending one of Ajram’s talks, you can do so in the Ayre Hotels, located in the biggest cities of Spain. I hope you’ll find his ideas as relevant as I did.
