Enjoy water sports, is one of the things I enjoy the most on the island, the fact of having the sea so close and to enjoy it, it’s something that is priceless!

Some of the Ibiza highlights is the clarity of the water thanks to the prairies of oceanic Posidonia that you can find in the Mediterranean and also serve as a refuge for numerous marine species, oxygenates the water and filters the sand, it is for that reason that the beaches on the white island there are fine sand and crystal clear waters that make underwater experiences unbeatable.

Some of my favorite places where I usually practice this water sport are:

Playa Cala Salada

It is located northwest of the island, 15 minute drive from San Antonio. It is about 200 meters. One of the peculiarities of this cove is that you can find plenty of stones Where can see very interesting things!

Playa Cala Salada

The Cala d’Hort

It located in the southwest of Ibiza, is lone of the places with more mystery and legend of the Balearic Islands, the islet of Es Vedra. One of the magical places for this sport and where you can enjoy beautiful views both inside and outside the sea.

Cala d´Hort

Cala Bassa

It is located northwest of the island, approximately 15 minutes drive from San Antonio, its waters are turquoise and surrounded by a forest of junipers old gnarled trunks. One of the most amazing places you can find in this cove is a cave which is accessible.

Cala Bassa

So if you didn´t try before snorkeling in Ibiza, it’s now a good time to put on fins, mask, tube and … jump into the sea!
