One of the attractions that I really enjoy in the island are the Ibiza markets. They go back to the 60´s when many hippies came to the island to express the light they had inside and the way they love to live in freedom. Today, in these markets we can still see that lifestyle reflected in the craft products such as clothing or jewelry.

The most important of the island are:

The Dahlias market

Dahlias market is one of the most popular markets in Ibiza. This is situated in the village of San Carlos, a small town in Santa Eulalia. It takes place on Saturdays from 10 in the banter and during the summer months is open Monday and Tuesday from 19 h. Often they put live music, and some specialties are clothes and jewelry.

Punta Arabi Hippy Market

This market is the largest of the island.  From April to October is located on the grounds of Hotel Club Punta Arabi from 10 am to 19 pm every Wednesday in the area of Es Canar.

It offers more than 500 craft stalls, clothing of different styles, original souvenirs, music and many other items. It also has a central tent where live concerts are held from 14:30 to 18 pm. In addition, a few meters from the market there is a small corner of coast where you can relax after that.

Flea market in San Juan.

It is located in the town square of San Juan, from 10 am to 4 pm on Sundays throughout the year.

The products offered are eco-friendly bath, drinks, clothing, most of which are hippy style. If you enjoy live music from 12 noon a very eclectic atmosphere.

Flea market in San Jordi.

The flea market in San Jordi is the favorite one for residents and there you can buy clothes, jewelry while you enjoy a cosmopolitan atmosphere. It is located on the racecourse in the southern part of the village and is held every Saturday from 9:00 to 15:00  Highly recommended if you want to get products at good price and stylish ;)
